Hello All,
I'm Dennis O'Connor from Naugatuck, Connecticut, USA. I've read the list
through the archive but decided to subscribe before I get on-line at home.
You'll have to forgive me if the traffic gets too much and work makes me
leave for a short time. I'm part of the MV hobby through my Dad and we've
been on the never ending jeep for about 10 years now. It's a trophy winner
but never finished '45 MB. The next project already begun is a '41 WC12, all
original, stumbled across in Mass. and now under restoration in the barn. A
'42 GPW (very rare Willy's frame with Ford serial # GPW 3161) is waiting for
attention now also. There is a collection of parts Dodge's now and a 1/2 ton
Command Car that will be sold to help the WC12 project.
When I get time I'm the newsletter editor for the CT Military Vehicle
Collector's. About 70 guy's with the same MV/OD affliction. I manage to
publish something each month and exchange with many other clubs. I've already
used some postings from the list that are of great interest. We will be
having an MV show and flea market here in Naugatuck on April 26, 1997 and if
you'd like I can e-mail you a flyer, just let me know.
If anybody has parts for a M31C pedestal mount (.30 cal in a jeep) please
let me know. Needed ASAP for show season. We have a good collection of parts
including come CJ2A/3A and now 1/2 ton Dodge. Maybe we don't need something
you do, again let me know.

Best Regards,
Dennis O'Connor
