The only problem with the CD ROM is that it only lists current stocks of
parts and vehicles. As an example, if you find a part for an M37 it won't
show up on the list. The CD-ROM is just like the old microfiche. They purge
the old info 3 to 4 times per year. They used to do the microfiche every
other month. I have microfiche from the seventies and it does not go back as
far as I would like. They are great tools as ling as you are working on
current inventory. The discs are for official use only but as they get
updated the old ones slip out and get sold. They are supposed to get
destroyed according to my sources. However, there used to be a government
department that you could write to and receive a copy of the old microfiche.
I don't know if that still exists. John
