A bit harsh arent 'ya? We dont know he stole the bird...the type of
flying A-10's do is often hairy. I've got a few credentials too, and am a
Regular Army Paratrooper. So, I dont mind the joke; it was done before the
wreckage was found. But to call the guy a coward or whatever, I dont buy it.
Does that mean the kid who died a while ago in my company because he was too
scared to activate his reserve parachute was a coward? Nope, just green, and
scared. Hell, guess we ought to be mad at him too, because of the training
investment Uncle Sugar made in him...As for the guys still in the cages, I
wish they'd send us back to get 'em. Those heroes deserve nothing less. You
have my respect my friend, but let's not judge this guy; he was a brother,
and he died doing something for all of us. Not in a war zone, just getting
ready for one. 'Ya know?
