Since my M715 is to be more of a work truck than a restoration, I am
considering following others' advice, and changing from the OE split
rims to a standard tubeless rim, by welding the original centers into a
16.5" standard rim.

Has anyone done this, or seen it done? Any idea of the cost involved in
cutting, welding and balancing? Any recommendations on who to do this
(i'm in NC)?
