[MV] M37 engine conversion

I'm planning a Dodge V8 conversion for my M37 (1951). I was wondering
if anyone has successfully completed this transplant ?

Several people I've talked to have recommended the 1971 passenger
car 360 engine. (this was a factory bored and stroked small block) To
clear the radiator, I would need to use a pre 1969 water pump. (It's
an inch shorter)

I have several 318 engines of varying years 77,79,81.. (It's not easy
to locate a '71 360). I've already fabricated motor mounts. I not sure
when and if Chrysler changed the engine bolt patterns on the late
model 318s. Also I would need to know what year flywheel to use.

Thanks for your help
