Regrettably I have no access to the treasure chest it would be to us
all, if we found an "info bank" with info on specific vehicles history
during the war. Good luck in your search, Torfinn!

However, the general rule for the info in the official from the
Norwegian Army is that they are never correct. That is what regards the
39-45 era vehicles. The listed year of manufacture seems to be picked
by random. The one important bit of information, which yuo should be
able to dig out, is the year of import to Norway. You could also try to
contact Forsvarsmuseet (The Defence Museum) in Oslo, as they have in
their custody the old records from the Army on all the vehicles. If you
can persuade them to take the time to check out your vehicle, you should
at least have a fair view of the vehicles history while in Norway. I
doubt that vehicles used by Norwegian forces abroad would have been
listed as you mentioned. To my knowledge, very few vehicles followed
their troops home to Norway after the war.
