>I know what you mean about it being a royal pain to reset the failure
indicator valve. Some are so sensitive that if you push a little too hard
(or too fast) when you're bleeding a system, it can set the valve to the
switch-closed position.

I have found this to be a suprisingly easy thing to fix "and like most good
tricks I discoverd it by accedent or should that be near accedent", Just
blead as normal then when on the test drive, spike the brake pedal asif that
4yr old down the street ran out from between two cars. no promises but it
has always worked for me, tho sometimes needs more than one try sofar no
more that 4
biggest prob is resisting the urge to start slow. It must be fast, like
steeping on a bee you just swated out of the air. " re MV's you should chek
that the linkge and mounting for your brake pedal will take this, " oh ya
"Hold On ! " :)

>I personally have never had any problem with a dual-master-cylinder system,
although once I picked up a rebuilt dual master cylinder from a 'reputable'
auto parts house and found out that it wouldn't bleed properly...kept
getting air in it. It turned out that some goofball on the assembly line put
one of the seals in backwards and rolled another one over while assembling
it!!! That, combined with the fact that there were still obvious pits that
couldn't be honed out, explained the problem. I took it back and pointed out
the multiple problems to the embarrassed manager in front of a few amused
customers. Told the guy he needed to find a new supplier of rebuilt brake
parts before they killed someone.

was it Fenco by chance? my last 6 fenco re built masters from fenco in the
last year all faild 2 had missing seals 1 had a wood screw instead of an
8-32. the problem is they have the most aresive core purchesing program. so
they usualy have the one the part store needs.
