Just got back from vacation (where I might add, spotted some fantastic MV's
sitting and gathering rust. 3 M37's, M38A1 and an M38A1C all complete.
Tried to purchase, but didn't have success on this trip. Also made the
wife drive, as this proved to be very useful in spotting MV's). Since I
missed out on the mail about machine guns, I thought I would respond now.
I ordered a M2HB 50 cal dummy from Lee Hutchins the first of this year. I
had hoped to have it by now, but Lee moved his shop, and is a couple of
months behind on his orders. According to my last phone call to Lee, my
gun should be here about the 1st week in September. It will be placed on
my M2A1 halftrack. My M2A1 currently has 2 M1919A4 Browning non-firing
guns, so with the 50 M2HB in place, it should really make the vehicle look
great. Lee claims that the weight of his dummy M2HB is approx 80 pounds
which is suppose to be the same as the real one. As soon as I receive this
gun, I will evaluate it and send my comments to the list.
