I'd love to have an M35 or two. I actually bid on six of them a little =
while ago. However, I submitted sealed bids and was unable to attend the =
open bidding session afterwards. I checked the successful bid list and =
found that I was outbid by only a couple of hundred dollars...perhaps by =
someone on this mailing list...I don't remember who the successful =
bidders were.

Maybe it's just as well. I don't know where I'd put six M35s...and I =
might also be pushing the limit of my wife's patience!

Still, I'll probably eventually pick one up...just to play with. I might =
also put it to work. We may be building a cabin out in the sticks before =
too long, which makes a great excuse: "Honey, I really NEED this truck =
now."

I've been following this for about 6 months, ever since I bought a 1955 =
=3D
M35C (REO, gas). I've noticed that there is very little conversation =
=3D
abouth the 6X6's. Is that because of their size, expense, licensing =3D
requirements, or what? They really are a bunch of fun, and they can pull =
=3D
4-5 jeeps at a time from any mudhole they might get stuck in. They just =
=3D
don't seem popular, but it isn't evident why.
