Subject: [MV] Front Wheel Drums

After discovering that the brake service company cannot turn my drums
because of numerous hard spots on the drum because of past overheating
( At least that is what they told me) I began a local search for new
drums. So far I received a quote from an old gentlemen out of Excelsor
Springs Mo, who has five pairs and he wants 165.00 each. Not pair, each.
Now I fully expected that restoring MV'S was going to cost some big money, but
I felt
that 165.00 for a wheel drum for a 42 WC 3/4 ton was a bit high. Advice is
needed!
Should I pony up, or are there any folks on the list near Kansas City, who
have 2 Front
Wheel drums for a 42 WC 3/4 for less money.

Thanks
