I have seen mules sell for anywhere from $400 in the 70s to a gent
who advertised one for $7500. I paid under $2000 for a 4cyl/4wheel steer
Willys model this year. I saw one for sale in Tucson, Arizona for $2100
last month, an A5 model.
What you can sell yours for is totally dependant on what someone will
pay for it. One of the big questions is:
WHERE ARE YOU AT???????
A bargain isn't much of a bargain if it is 2000 miles away in the US or
if I would have to import it from Europe. Remember that this page is read
and commented on internationally.
If it is in 'stock' condition with little wear and tear, I would think it
would be worth asking $2000+ delivered. Again, it would make little sense
for a person in California to pay that much if you are in New York,
Shipping and insurance costs are just too high. Unfortunately, this is
the case with many MV 'deals' which are offered on this forum. The USA is
big, the world is bigger. I personally know of many outstanding deals in
Alaska, where I worked for a summer, but it would be prohibitively
expensive to either ship or drive it down the Alaska highway.
Good Luck.
