My girlfriend Jeanne and I almost had a firery experience on Sat. We went 4
wheeling with another coupe. At the end we stopped for gas, and after I had
filled the M151, I put the nozzel back then remembered that the gas can on the
back was only 1/2 full. I went to put gas in and the pump would not work as I
had already pu the nozzel into the holder. I said I will do it later and paid
then we left. In the center of Raymond NH is a bad X intersection. As I started
across, a car came speeding up on the side where you have only a short sight
distance. I stopped quickly to avoid a collision. The couple behind us in the
M38A1 had already started across behind us. They rear-ended us pretty hard.
When we stopped to look, the impact had crushed the gas can on the back of my
Jeep. Had it been full, it probably would have burst spewing gasoline all over
the place...

PS Apparently an M38A1 bumper is higher than an M151...
