There is no room to have a longer tranny in a CCKW due to the closeness of the
xfer case. In addition, as the pedals are mounted to the bellhousing, if you
have to change that, there will be pedal moving issues
My CCKW(s) don't make much noise from the tranny, and most is from the xfer I
believe
