Dear Dean,

I know these original UNIMOG radio boxes well, I've lived in them several
times, when I was a radio operator at the German Bundeswehr.

The original radio box is not a container which is bolted on the cargo bed.
It is bolted to the chassis instead of the cargo bed. One big disadvantage
for camping use is the inner height. It is only around 1.60 - 1.70 m. So
taller persons can't stand upright inside.

But if you fit a high box on the cargo bed of the UNIMOG 404, pay attention
that the vehicle doesn't turn over in sharp bends. The UNIMOG is not wide
and the center of gravity is high, especially with a high box on the cargo bed.

Regards from Germany
Andreas
