Hello

I don't know if this will help with your problem but is it possible
that the distributer is off a tooth from where it needs to be? moving one
tooth in the right direction should make it possible to see the timing
marks and have some free area to further advance if necessary. I've always
been told to advance one degree for each thousand feet in elevation.
