While I was out at the Presidio this week, I met Marcus Combs, an employee of
the National Park Service in the Presidio Museum. (The U.S. Army
decommissioned the Presidio a few years back and it is now run by the
National Park Service.) They are going to have a parade on Veteran's Day
(Nov 11, 1997) on the Presidio grounds. They are looking for re-enactors and
military vehicles to be in the parade. The parade will be open to military
vehicles and re-enactors from the Mexican War to present. If you know of any
people or groups that may be interested in participating, contact Marcus L.
