I just visited the http://www.amgmil.com/info/ site which Rick posted to the list. I question some of the "facts" there.
I don't believe that Kaiser purchased Willys-Overland Motors as early as 1953. I thought it was around 1964. Anybody who knows for sure, please post.
Another point in question (at least for me): Did American Motors have a General Products Division prior to their acquisition of Willys -Overland Motors? Seems to me they did. If so, Am General has no claim to be descended from Willys.
