I stumbled upon a front axle for my M38-A1 that was rebuilt by the goverment.
The price is right but I don't want to buy this without knowing what the
goverment does when they rebuild something.
I would suspect that they would change the bearings and redo the brakes.
Does anyone know that is generally done when a front axle is rebuilt? This
one was done in Japan.
