[MV] MV names & old MV's

I like the idea of your horse being a reallly old MV, although the purist=
would undoubtedly insist on "replica". But it looks and smells like the
real thing...

On the subject of old and far out MV's, I met a man in Washington state w=
is restoring what he refers to as a WWI "Trench" engine. This appears fr=
the photos to be a small steam locomotive of conventional appearance, but=

with a gauge of about 24 inches. He claims it was made in 1917 expressly=

for the purpose of supporting the war effort, and was shipped overseas fo=
that purpose. Anyone ever hear of such a beast?

I thought it might make an interesting article for Supply Line.
