Hi! I found that if the transmission had run dry while in service,
it damages the case, even though they rebuild the trans, they don't
replace the case. The trans case looks ok, but oil will still leak
even when engine off. I had case replaced, oil leak gone. I took
my jeep to a local trans shop which works on classic cars. Told
them I want to stop all the leaks. They said no problem! 3 years
later, I still need bucket under jeep.
