[MV] Internet Hoax

This isn't strictly a MV topic so I will apologize in advance to Mr. Lee and
all MV board subscribers, but it does concern many who use the internet. The
letter from "a former AOL employee" is a hoax which has been going around for
a while. It is something like a chain letter, which seeks to gum up the works
and bad mouth an ISP which many people don't like. The U.S. Department of
Energy maintains a Computer Incident board at
http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html which has more more info on the
AOL cookie hoax. By the way, if you remember the "Good Times Virus" hoax,
check out the "Good Times Virus Spoof" on the above site.
