Every GPW / MB I have seen has a mechanical temp guage. These have a tube
filled with ether (I think) that goes to a port in the engine. I have not
been able to figure out a way to rebuild these at home but I am sure someone
out there has. There are some fairly decent reproductions available out
there. It was the only guage in my Jeep that I couldn't salvage.
