I guess I will paint it OD as it was the original color. I am not interested
depicting any particular era but, just want to get it right.
I do not know which branch of service my M151 served under. I was told that it was
from a lot of 84 jeeps that accompanied the purchase of a decommissioned underground
missle complex by a private person or company. They were in underground storage. I
guess that is how they got passed the demil process. I do not know how long they were
stored but, do know that the oil filter had 1991 scratch on it. It also had only
17,072 miles on it.
If this is true, would they have been under Army or Air Force command?
