[MV] M715 QUESTIONS

I own a 1967 M715 thats been converted to 12 volts. The other day I took
apart the engine (oil control problems). When examining the parts, I found
that the new timing cover gasket I ordered was too small. I happened to have
a spare timing cover from another M715 lying around and it was definately
smaller; The gasket mated up nicely on it. The question: Were there more
than one version of the 6-230 engine installed on these trucks or could there
be a civillian engine installed? I also find it odd that the foreward engine
mounts are part of a 1/8" plate sandwiched between the timing cover and the
engine block (as opposed to the 2 pieces bolted to either side of the block at
mid-engine).

While I'm at it, I'm looking for an economical (read that CHEAP) source for
the following:

ENGINE REBUILD KIT (pistons, rings, gaskets, bearings, etc)
TAILGATE
WATERPROOF IGNITION-12 Volt
TROOP SEATS minus the wood
FUEL TANK AND FILLER

Thanks to anyone who can help.
