My M211 has the Ord. Date Plate showing original deliver date of 2/'54.
It is my understanding that the "x" designation is used before something
is standardized. Check the data plates. I believe the M211 was standardized
in 1953. Other than possible windows in the rear of the cab, I know of no
differences. But, I'm new at this too and would welcome any info. Beware!
What condition are the trannys in? $1200 to rebuild one and this is the
Achilles heal of the whole truck.
