The M715 was built from 1967-1969. It was an interum vehicle between the
M-37 and M-880 Dodge trucks. It saw limited use in Vietnam without any
particular branch of the sevice. It weight is 5500 with a gross vehicle
weight of 8500lb. Total production was 22,000 units. The drivetrain was
standard automotive in nature, but all of the components were stronger
and larger for off road use. The M715 was rated at 1-1/4 ton class.
