[MV] A Jeep is a jeep is a GP

Seems funny to me that jeep is only for WWII when right up until the
Army traded in the last M151A2, everyone referred to them as jeeps. My
commander's never mentioned the 1/4 Ton Truck, they always mentioned the
jeep. In all the years both riding and driving them in the Army, I
always referred to the M151A1 and A2 as a jeep. My maintenance tech
always called them jeeps, heck even the Post commanding general called
it a jeep. We all know Generals are never wrong either.:)

What the term is appropriate use is in the mind (and heart in some
cases) of the user. Until the federal government decides to regulate
the terms use, jeep can mean whatever the user wants. As for the
Government, give them time, they'll eventually get around to regulating
it, right? I mean, they have just about everything else.
