Hi All:

Have 4 Chevy M-1028 cargo shelter carriers for rebuilding on my property
outside Aberdeen,MD.Being in a rural area, not much of a problem with the
neighbors causing flak over mil-green stuff in backyard.I think a little
common courtesy goes a long way in making for good relations with the
other people who must 'put up' with our crazy habit...Let me make a few
recommendations.....
1.Talk to your neighbours.Let them know that you're trying to do the
best you can to make it(the 4 Sherman Tanks)unobtrusive in your
backyard or frontyard.(Oh,by the way keep main tank gun pointed
at your house,not your neighbors!)

2.Keep it clean(don't have pieces and parts strewn everywhere)

3.Like another MV'r said and did,TARP IT.This not only protects your
investment, but keeps what you have from gawkers and OTHER parts
salvagers(lost two pintle hooks to thieves)

4.Definitely obey all environmental regulations(dont drain transmission
fluids onto ground;use catch pans under leaky motors, etc)

5.Use common sense.Walk two 'doors'down the street and look over onto
your property and look for the obvious.

Return e-mail welcome.....
Opinions not those of ARL....
