In answer to Lee,
I think the agreement you outlined is totally fair to each of you.
The last part, if he takes longer than 6 weeks to get here, is a
little fuzzy but only if there is no communication of the fact he will
be late. It's nice to see folks can still strike a gentleman's agreement
without the need for a written contract.
