last winter when we got dumped on i had snow up to the bumper of my
m-43. i just cruised through it like butter in 4x mode even backing up
in
the side streets was easy. but when it was in rear wheel drive there
was'nt
enough weight to hold the back down so i almost got into a few accidents
that left my heart pounding.at one point i was driving up a hill that i
considered
well beaten and safe for two wheel drive but as i neared the top i
started sliding
and there was nothing i could do.the truck slid backwards and completely
spun
around until it was facing the opposite way at the bottom.i narrowly
missed a couple
of cars on my way down but it taught me a lesson not to think that these
trucks are
impervious to any weather conditions.i drive a lot more cautiously
now.my tires are
in good shape so i figure it must be the design.maybe if they were
>flatter? who knows.
