[MV] Non-Directional Tires on Ice

While commanding a border camp in West Germany with the 2nd ACR we had a
rash of accidents with the M-151s on icy and snowing conditions. As the
commander I required that all M-151 operated by the patrols during these
conditions would have chains mounted on all four wheels. I don't know
if it was the improved traction or the fact that the chains slowed down
the drivers, but the accidents stopped.

As a previous individual indicated if you drop the air pressure in
accordance with the appropriate TM's you will find that performance
improves.
