Wouldn't this decision also be based on whether or not the engine had an
oil filter? What's the point of keeping crud in
suspension if there is nothing to filter it out? Hence my point is: If y=
ou
have an oil filter, use detergent oil, if not use non-detergent oil. Is=

this proper logic?
