Hi friends !!!

I' the new kid on the Mil-Veh block. I drive somehow a Military Vehicle =
with a little less fame than all the jeeps and M35s, etc. It's a Unimog =
404-S Radio-Truck. As you can probably tell by now, English is not my =
native language, I'm originally from Austria and came to this wonderful =
country in 1982. I'm an electrical engineer designing embedded =
controllers and also write the software for it.

I'm very curious to find out a little more about the different kind of =
Mil-trucks ,etc...

I remember back in 1955 or so in Austria, there were some Cab-over =
trucks with a whole battery of propane bottles or so between the closed =
Cab and the Cargo-bed. Since I was 7 years at the time much of the =
details have vanished since. However I liked this truck. It had kind of =
a square radiator up front and it stuck out about 4 to 6 inches. I don't =
know if it was 4 wheel drive or not. It only had 1 rear axle I believe.

I hope my intro was alright, as I said I'm new to it, but I can learn =
!!!

Thanks from KLAUS
