What you found was the 1st or 2nd series GMC shop van. The 1st series has
rounded rear body (bus) corners.

They (either) are very rare. As I recall, the 2nd ones only had 2000 produced.
I have found one myself and will attempt to buy it this summer. The one I am
looking at is a welding truck with a giant welder in the middle of the body
belt driven from a xfer pto.
