Age .... thats the key. If it is not current issue / use it should
be OK. It would have to be new enough to have computer chips in before
it was a problem. Import regs for Europe would cut in if it was an
armoured vehicle, radioactive (like early gauges) or had some sort of
hazard attached to it. Unless the good old D/O/D had some sort of
EXPORT restrictions like they do on Hummers and Mutts. Dont forget
European buyers would have to pay import duties based on U.S. cost PLUS
carriage and insurance, I reckon that something bought for a dollar in
the US will cost about twice that by the time you get it to and through
European customs.
