Tim -

The company in New Mexico your referring to is:

KoobleKarWerke
11207 Acoma Road South East
Albuquerque, NM 87123
(505) 292-5614 Fax (505) 299-6171
E-mail: SKUNKWERKE.DENNIS@worldnet.att.net

They have been advertising in VW magazines for a number of years. Their
Kuebelwagen T-82 Replica is made to fit on a standard VW Bug chassis. I saw
one at a local VW show last year and it looked very real (the general public
couldn't tell it wasn't made in the 40's). It is all metal and the shape is
quite close to the original. I wanted to ask the owner about his replica
but never could find him at the show. Everything on the car appeared to be
in working order.

Standard disclaimer - no affiliation, etc.

Now, I can't even begin to afford a real one but I have this 1966 Baja Bug
out back with a good chassis . . . . . .
