For some reason of which I am not sure, when you upshift into 5th, you must
do it like you were down shifting: You pull the lever into neutral and speed up
the engine then slip it into 5th. That is what you do when you down shift 5-4,
4-3, 3-2 etc. Every other upshift you do by pulling ithe shifter into neutral
and let the engine idle then pull the lever into the next higer gear. ( I
ommitted the clutch motion here)
