It will be a Wilson pre-selector then, one of the most fiendish
machines in the known universe. Start the engine with it in forward,
move forward a little at idling speed and then ease it into reverse.
It wont like changing gear direction at absolute rest, but will do it
at a crawl. Also watch out for mis-selecting a gear, the pedal spring
reacting will throw you right out the seat, and if it doesn't want to
start DONT TOW IT. Apart form that your only problems should be fuel
costs and possible speeding tickets. Gordon 8-)
