[MV] tiny's duece question

I am pretty new to MV ownership but have been into MV's for a long time.
Anyone please feel free to correct any errors. There are basically 3
generations of 2 1/2 ton trucks. The WW2 CCKW, the 1950's M135/M211,
and the M35 series. I don't know exactly where the "2 1/2 ton" nomenclature
comes from since there is no capacity, except maybe your toolbox, that small
shown o my M211. The M35's were made and then refurbished/upgraded a great dea
l because the platform was solid. M35-"reo" trucks were equiped with gas,
diesel multifuel, and straight diesel engines. I did here from a VTNG source
that the 2 1/2 ton series is going away over the next three years to be
replaced with a new 3 ton series. So htere should be a large number of
m35 types coming up as surplus in the coming years. Seems like prices I've
seen tend to run between 1500-4500 depending on the condition of the truck.
The only real challenge I've run into owning a duece & half is that nothing
you need is going to be small.
