Any advice would be greatly appreciated on the following - mailed on
behalf of The Military Vehicle Section, Bletchley Park Museum, Bletchley,
Milton Keynes, UK, or email c/o tcb@hasher.demon.co.uk

Does anyone know where we can get a steering box for a 1930 something RAF
Mercury Bomb Tractor. Also need some replacement tyres... dont know the size
at this time.

Additionally we have 2 x WW2 RAF Bomb Trailers to carry 250Kg bombs - we
would very much like to refurbish these trailers however have been unable to
find out what the bomb cradles look like - plans/pictures would be of great
assistance.

Our aim is to get the Mercury and the bomb trailers restored... and then get
some bombs to go on them.... any ideas where we might get the loan/donation
of the right bombs? If your local Bomb Disposal team are having a
clearout...

On a sligthly larger scale we also have a bomb trailer designed to carry 1 x
Grand Slam Bomb - again the trailer is slightly the worse for wear and
plans/pictures would be of great assistance - currently loaded with 1 x
Militant (under restoration). Since the likelyhood of getting a deact Gram
Slam bomb is rather remote - accurate dimensions would enable us to get a
plastic replica made.

Thanks in advance for any leads/assistance
