Greetings List: I was looking at some photos of the SAS jeeps and
noticed that all of them had all but two of the center grille bars cut
out. I would have thought this would expose the radiator to more danger
from debris. Anyone know why this was done?
Also if anyone is interested I bought a die cast model of what I assume
is an SAS jeep . It is made by Solido [French made] , has two vickers
MGs front and rear. Painted in the Desert color. A nice little jeep with
trailer. I got mine from a Target store for $8.99. Later
