I know this isn't a weapons list, but last Saturday, FedEx just delivered mine
and my wife's M1 Garands from the Civilian Marksmanship program. One is an
early 1941 rebuild. The other is a brand new, unfired 1944. Everything is
brand new. Just beautiful. Anyone 16 and over, a US citizen, with no felony
convictions is eligible. All you need to do is join a club, fire a match at a
club-sanctioned event, and send in an application. THe whole process takes
about 8 months. I bought mine for $310.00. They are now going for $418.00.
This is about the only good deal available from the government. IF anyone is
interested, I'll post the address and ph# in Ohio.
