That's surprising. Is there any anti slip mechanism between the front-re=
ar
and rear-rear diffs? =

I believe on the 211 and 135 the front drive doesn't engage until some
slip is detected at the rear, is that correct? And the M35 has an air
powered locker to engage the front drive axle.

Does anyone know if lockers or limited slip diffs are available for 2 1/2=

tons? =

Also, does anyone know of overdrive retrofits for 2 1/2 ton trucks to mak=
e
them more suitable for the highway. With a 50-55 mph top speed, obviousl=
y
freeway driving is not really a good idea unless you are driving through
L.A. (;->) I've heard that the 5 ton trucks actually have a higher top e=
nd
of 60-65 mph.
