One more caution about HF.

I worked with 60% liquid HF in the Silicon chip manufacturing
industry. HF is a calcium depleter that attacks the bone material
catastrophically.

You don't realize you have been contaminated until more than 12 hours
later when it feels like arthritis is setting in. Immediate treatment
is massive injections of calcium directly into the bone area, more
than a day, and treatment is amputation.

I don't have a MSDS on hand now, but if you can get one, It says HF is
seriously hazardous, but doesn't completely describe the effects.

BTW, I developed and taught industrial safety classes for SubMicron
Systems, a wet-wafer processing equipment manufacturing.

Regards,
Jim
