Greetings,I am a newbie to the list.I have 2 Canadian 1952 power wagons.One
very rough to be used as a work horse and the other slowly bringing back to
original.I also have a large assortment of parts I'd be willing to trade for
things i can use.I also have a very large collection of Land Rovers from
1950 to1985.Some are military but most are not.And I have a couple of barns
full of Land Rover parts which i'd be willing to trade or sell to finish my
other projects.
I am interested in uping the performance in the flat head 6 in the power
wagon.Who knows what can be done?Whats the limit for compression?10 to 1 ?
Any porting for flow benefits? What about cam profiles.Other timing chain
setups available?I have a dual single barrel manifold I'd like to try.I also
have three motors to work with and lots of heads.I don't really see how to
get much more horse power but i do see lots of potential for more torque. The
motors I have are the sodium valve ones.
Some of the things i am looking for the wagons are locking
hubs, snorkelkit, rear hoops.original winch with shafts and pto.and any
options manual.I believe i have an original arctic heater still new inm the
box(not for sale)but i would like to see how it is suppose to install.I
would llike to restore the one truck to as original as possible with as many
options on it i can find. Thanks
Andre
