Hello,

First of all, thankyou to everyone who replied to my first post.
Your comments and encouragment are appreciated.

Now, I was wondering if you could help me sort out a confusing
issue. I have been reading a lot on M151s all over the place, from the
archives to various sites etc. Unfortunately there is a lot of
contradictory information out there. I have a few questions which I would
like clearing up:
Which vehicles had the tendancy to roll? Was it only the M151A2,
only the pre-M151A2 or all of the M151s?
Which of the above were destroyed? If you buy one that slipped by
will you have to keep it under netting and guarded by a big dog to keep of
those who would destroy it?
Is there any way of modifying the suspension to prevent roll. I
have heard there is a kit available, but I have also heard that it is
useless.
Is the claim that the rolls were mostly a result of reckless
soldiers validated anywhere? Does anyone have statistics for civlian
accidents involving a M151?
Does anyone have a M151 of any type out there that is licensed for
the road, insured etc? If so where are you? I live in Canada and will
check with the Ministry of Transporation for sure, except that my previous
experience would indicate that most of the employees don't know what kind
of vehicle they drove to work or what side of the road you drive on here.
I would feel much better approaching them if I knew what I was talking
about.
Lastly, if buying a M151 of any type would make me either a
fugitive from the law or a piece of road-mush, what is a good jeep of
similar capability and durability that hasn't had vodoo-curses put on it?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

P.S. Incidentaly, does anyone have a detailed spec sheet on the M151
series? One that includes things like detailed dimensions, transmission
ratios, load weight/volume max towing weight?

P.S.S. Sorry if I am dredging up an over-done topic in a futile attempt
to aquire a difinitive answer.
