Don't know the correct thinner for CARC but lacquer thinner will cut it
well enough to clean your gun. It sprays pretty "hot" using lacquer
thinner, though. I'd try to find something slower. (less volatile) It is
some of
the nastiest stuff I've ever used. Worse than IMRON or even AWLGRIP. I
painted a boat trailer OUTDOORS and damn near annihilated myself. I'd try
to find an air-supplied mask. I put it over military epoxy primer and it
has held up well so far. (two years)----------
