Hello everybody,
My Brother-in-law is looking for a good running GMC 302 straight six
engine.
As used in M-211/135's. What have you got? The engine has a dead cylinder=
&
the genius that owned it previously left it out all winter with water in
the
radiator. It used to overheat after driving 3 miles. But we used
"waterglass"
in the cooling system & cured that problem. Top speed at this point is 30=

mph.
(downhill)
Thanks

P.S. The auto trans works good!

You may want to rip the one you have apart before looking for another one=
=2E =

A valve job and ring job might get you all of the power back. I've foun=
d
that buying another engine of that age is sometimes just buying a differe=
nt
set of problems. You have to take the engine out anyway.

Good Luck,

Dave
