Hi All,
I'd like to buy a newer 5-ton (preferably the expansible van body
style). I'm new to military vehicles so all the model numbers are
confusing me. I want a true diesel (not multi-fuel) and I want the
allison (no manual trannys), and I'd prefer the super-singles to the
duals. Does anyone know what model number this would fall under (for
the expansible van with the above features)? How do I refer to the
5-ton series as a whole (like the 2 1/2 tons are normally refered to as
the M35 series)? Is there a different way to refer to the newer style
(i.e. super-singles vs duals)? Any help you can provide is greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben.
