In the same series as the M35, there was the M756, the 2 1/2 ton
Pipeline Construction Truck that had an open top metal body, with a
wood-metal flat bed. The truck had a rear winch up near the cab, a cab
protector, and two gin poles for constructing an A frame crane on either
the end or sides of the flat bed. It also had rear floods, and stiff leg
jacks for additional support of the bed. The bed winch was a 20,000 lb
winch.
